To support our Digital Team, we are looking for a 
Social Media Manager 
 
Main Purpose
A successful Social Media Manager will administer the brand’s social media marketing and advertising strategy, is instrumental in managing the brand’s content-related assets and focus on the cultivation of leads and sales.  
 
Responsibilities 
  • Develop and implement a social media marketing plan, which will include the following components: 
  • Brand development 
  • Identify target customers & set clear objectives  Visual design & web development strategy 
  • Solid content strategy 
  • Engagement & conversion strategy 
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including: 
  • Create, curate and manage all published content (images, video & written) to reach the company’s target customers 
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way, while cultivating leads and sales 
  • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns 
  • Develop and expand community, manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation 
  • Analyze key metrics, compile reports for management showing results (ROI) 
  • Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics 
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy, identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company 
  • Analyze campaigns & translate data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns. 
 
Requirements 
  • Knowledge & experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is considered a plus, but not required with relevant work experience. 
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing. 
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. Kindly provide links to profiles as examples.  
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound. 
  • Proficient in content marketing, excellent writing, language and superior time management skills 
  • Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary
