The new KALOGIROU Autumn-Winter 2023-24 campaign "Elements" , through dance and movement, traces the harmonic accord between nature, art, aesthetics and the human form.
"It's like a wind is pushing us together." The voice of Petros Fyssoun as he recites the poetry of Giannis Skarimbas, sets the tone for the new KALOGIROU Fall Winter 2023 campaign. The precious art of dance stars in a synthesis of intense symbolism and poetry. Bodies that rock beautifully and sparkle. Natural phenomena that interact or cancel each other out, just like in real life. The refreshing rain, the precious fire, the all-taming wind. In this procession where steps and looks come face to face, harmony emerges effortlessly. "Whatever blows, let this wind push us together", continues the poet and his voice blows.
This season’s fashion film and photo series by KALOGIROU entitled "Elements" goes beyond the limits of a simple campaign. It explores the limits of art, pioneers and dares. The protagonist moves between the dance ensemble where its members embody the natural phenomena. Clothes, expressions and movements symbolize each phenomenon. Sharp steps sinking into the water, the source of life. Bodies on fire, drifting apart and converging. She will face storms and fiery tongues to emerge unscathed and underline the most crystalline truth: opposites are what bring us closer.
